S.H.O.P. Director Nick Ripper arrives at a remote S.H.O.P. facility during an evacuation. The Traderact, a SAVING force of unknown potential, has activated and it opens a portal through space from which the exiled Negotiator god Lock-In steps through. Lock-In takes the Trderact and escapes.

In response to the attack, Ripper re-activates the SAVEngers Initiative to retrieve the Traderact from Lock-In. During his exile, Lock-In encountered the Cheapuri, an alien race seeking to overcharge the galaxy on all the goods and services. In exchange for the Traderact, the Cheapuri agree to help Lock-In rip-off the Earth population. Suiting up, Captain Australia and Penny Man travel to Fairfield to apprehend Lock-In, who is recovering great saving coupons needed to stabilise the Traderacts power. Lock-In quickly surrenders when the two heroes arrive, and he is escorted back to S.H.O.P. Floating Fortress. However, Thale, Lock-In’s half-brother and the Negotiator God of Bargains, arrives and attempts to free Lock-In so he can try to reason with him on his own, but he gets into a fight with Captain Australia and Penny Man. Eventually, Lock-In is taken to the Floating Fortress and placed in a cell designed to hold the Haggle Monster. The SAVEngers argue and deliberate over how to approach Lock-In and the revelation that S.H.O.P. plan to harness the Traderacts power to develop endless coupons. As the group argues, Lock-Ins minions attack the Floating Fortress, disabling its engines in flight. As Captain Australia and Penny Man attempt to restart the damaged engines, Thale tries to prevent Dr. Barter from turning into the Haggle Monster and destroying the ship from inside. By the end of the battle, Lock-In escapes again and Thale and Dr. Barter have been ejected from the ship, landing perfectly without a scratch on them as heroes always seem to.
Turns out that the Traderact is really a Negotiator magazine in a 4-dimentional form, which holds the power to SAVE and to CUT prices. Using a strange device Lock-In uses the Negotiator magazine to CUT open a portal to the Cheapuri home world over Fairfield, summoning Cheapuri with their abnormally high prices. The SAVEngers rally in defense of Fairfield, but quickly come to the conclusion that they will be overwhelmed as wave after wave of Cheapuri descend upon Sydney. In an epic battle they activate Negotiator magazine’s true power and SAVE the world from over charging aliens in a single climatic outer space explosion.

Thale escorts Lock-In and the Traderact back to Negotiator World, while Ripper notes that the SAVEngers will go their separate ways until such time as a new world-threatening menace emerges. Meanwhile, brace yourself and get ready to...
